CITY DIVE, INC.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Terrell Murphy
Founder of City Dive Inc.
Apostle Terrell serves as visionary of the Life Center International in Charlotte, NC where he brings more than 30 years of corporate, community and ministry experience. During this time, Apostle Terrell faithfully served his spiritual father, the late Bishop Eddie Long as an elder at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia, and Senior Pastor of New Birth-Charlotte. Through God’s elevation to a greater call in His Kingdom, he established Life Center International, a ministry focused on the renewal and reformation of the Body of Christ.
With a ministry seated in suburban Charlotte, Apostle Terrell also exemplifies his great love and compassion for the inner city of Charlotte through the establishment of City Dive, Inc., a 501c (3) organization whose mission is to engage, equip and empower families to radically transform and sustain their lives and communities. He planted his first church City Dive Outreach Center, which was birthed due to the significance of City Dive Inc.
Apostle is a Council member of the Rebuilders Project (formerly known as Statesmen’s Project), an international movement centered in the utilization of practical biblical principles and models that solve specific community and national problems. As a Rebuilder he oversees its African American Alliance and serves as leadership for the International Community Action Council team. He’s also a member of the Executive Council for the United States Coalition of Apostolic Leaders (USCAL) which is a consortium of global apostolic leadership whose focus is to advance the Kingdom of God more rapidly and effectively. He is the Executive Council to the Global Apostolic Alliance, which provides leadership for numerous apostolic leaders. Terrell’s oversight capacity also provides leadership for the E2C Alliance and the Apostolic and Prophetic Global Coaliton as its Convener. Locally Apostle Terrell facilitates the Charlotte Police Chief and a City Commissioner’s Joint Roundtable for better Policing for Mecklenburg County and he is also a member of the Executive team for the African American Faith Alliance for Educational Advancement, an initiative focused on the academic enhancement of students in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system.
Terrell is the Founder of the OCCUPY Movement and the Apostolic LEADERS Series (ALS). OCCUPY serves the body of Christ into the understanding and activation of New Testament patterns. Annually the OCCUPY Movement serves the body of Christ, their leaders, their teams and congregation in a training and equipping setting, where many leave transformed and empowered with greater understanding personally and corporately as to what it means to OCCUPY until He (Jesus) returns. ALS is a weekly gathering of Church and Ministry Network Overseers in which Apostle Terrell aids them in establishing more effective strategies for church and cultural transformation.
He is called as a reformer in the body of Christ with passion to see the Kingdom order of God restored back to its original purpose in the earth. This, he believes, shall come to pass through the execution of New Testament Apostolic Ministry and Houses.
“To see the church aligned to the purposes and focuses of our Lord and His Christ is what will cause the kingdoms of this world to encounter and be influenced by our Lord”.
Apostle Terrell, a native of Granite Falls, NC and graduate of Appalachian State University, is a devoted husband of over 30 years to his wife Susan. Together they are the proud parents of two sons, Samuel and Johnathan who are also active in leadership capacities at Life Center International.
